Join my team!

Oh, my goodness! You really want to join my team? Heavens, I am flattered! What's my "team", you ask? Well... nothing, SO FAR. Given that there is no 'I' in 'team' and all, and I'm currently the only member of the movement, the team is a mere figment of my ever-vivid imagination. This team of hypothetical geniuses will be plotting the route of action for the Civic Education Reform Movement. In particular, the team will create a civic curriculum, write a book(let) that details our civic pedagogy (dealing especially with instructional methodology), figure out a long-term lobbying strategy, and raise awareness for the cause. In this case, part of raising awareness will include a few different approaches through the creative arts. SEE BELOW.

Eventually, the website will have a Google login feature with which you can make a profile and network with other people who want to bring about civic education reform. As of now, however, the way to become a member is to either join the Facebook group or the Discord server. If you want to be a part of the central team, you can say so in one of those two places, or you can send me a message directly.

Let's form a band!
I am currently composing the original soundtrack to my future education reform-themed comic book (see below), and while I will (presumably) start out by doing solo performances at open-mics, I ultimately want to form a rock band that can play the music in the actual style of the soundtrack. The music is (or will be) composed in a neoromantic/post-romantic rock style, with some songs having jazz rock influence (see details here). The band will parallel the band that the four main characters form in the story.

Osprey: lead vocals + bass
Dove: (classical) piano + background vocals
Raven: lead guitar + background vocals
Pheasant: drums + background vocals
Pheasant's Boyfriend: rhythm guitar

HOWEVER: I'm not entirely sure about the inclusion of the rhythm guitar, as I've found that it is not very important to the overall sound. And while in the comic book, all the characters are female (and therefore have female vocals), this will not be necessary for our band (though if I form a band in Japan, this will be a consideration). Also, the lead singer does not have to be the same person as the bassist; in fact, I'll be the lead singer, and it may be possible (though absolutely NOT ideal) for me to be the pianist as well.
Artists and voice actors?
It is quite possible that I will end up going to Japan in order to try to start a civic education reform movement (公民教育改革運動 koumin kyouiku kaikaku undou) in the country. The most basic reason is that, as far as I can now tell, Japan has the most straightforward route for education reform, meaning that the chances of success are at least a little higher than the chances in the United States. As such, one of my first ideas for spreading the word was writing a manga (Japanese comic book) that deals with issues in education in Japan and demonstrates how to solve them (see details here). Now, I have a very robust idea of how the story goes (and I will have a complete or mostly complete script written by the end of 2027) and I realize the significant political potential of the comic book, not just in Japan but also quite possibly in the United States.

Next year I will start creating artwork and assets for the series. Most likely, I will be creating all the art myself, but if there are any artists who would like to work along with me to create this comic series, send me a message.

I am writing a soundtrack for this comic series, and the soundtrack would be much more suitable within a video format. For this reason, I considered the possibility of creating a video comic so that the soundtrack can play along with the video. However, if I do this, then I will need voice actors to voice the characters in each episode. There are four main characters, which means that there would need to be four long-term voice actors (granted, if I have the script, then the lines could hypothetically all be recorded in a compressed time period). There are other major and minor recurring characters as well as incidental characters who could also use a new voice.
